Grandpa’s Standard Oil Station

memorabilia framing

We did this memorabilia framing project for a young man who’s Grandpa owned a Standard Oil station in Wisconsin.

Remember when there were Service Stations, not gas stations? And someone came out, pumped your gas, cleaned the windshield and checked the oil?

Our client’s Dad worked there as a child and young man.  The station and the grandfather were long gone and no one had saved memorabilia. The son found the map and matchbook on Ebay, added a photo and the patch off Grandpa’s shirt and surprised his Dad with the project last Christmas.

Do you have some old family memorabilia that would make a nice gift, maybe with some custom memorabilia framing? Stop in and we’ll help pull it all together in a nice presentation.  tp
